Digby is an accomplished electronic artist & DJ and a mixing, mastering & atmos engineer based in London at Baltic Studios. Having studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music, Digby quickly established himself as a prominent figure in the electronic music world, working with Steve Levene, Natalie McCool, Seth Troxler, Alice Phoebe Lou, Thomas Melchior and more. He co-founded Behind This Wall, a dance club night based at London’s Plastic People which later grew into an alternative music focused venue & cocktail bar in Hackney which still runs today. He was also a resident at Plastic People for two years before its closure in 2015. He runs a label called Flash as a Rat, which was a home for his debut album ‘For My Process’ which he recorded in collaboration with his brother, Alex Smith. From 2015 Digby released music with Cocoon & Discobar and became a staple figure in the Berlin club scene, sharing the decks with the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Väth, Nina Kraviz, Zip, Craig Richards and Margaret Dygas. Alongside his work as a DJ & touring electronic artist, Digby also owns and runs a mix and mastering studio in partnership with Baltic Studios - a creative center and recording studio complex in London - where has worked on projects with Chk Chk Chk (!!!), Anna Prior, Noah and more.
